Wayne’s New Skoo BBQ: Discover the Best BBQ Experience in Omaha

I’ve driven past this place hundreds of times and can’t believe it took me this long to stop in. Ordered the brisket dinner with fries and coleslaw. Perfectly seasoned fries. Crisp, tangy slaw. And the brisket—dear god. I expected neat slices, but instead got a glorious, messy pile of chopped brisket piled onto Texas toast. Absolutely wrecked me. Don’t make my mistake. Go eat here.

Very good BBQ. Was getting towards end of day, so not so fresh, had been kept on warmer and toughening up a little. Owner and help were great people! Lots of menu choices. Will definitely be going back, but a little earlier in the day for fresher food

I love the food, the people, and the music! My family has been fans of Wayne's for forever. The smoke flavor on the meat is so powerful, and It smells so good when they've got the smoker going. Supporting a local spot like this is what I thrive on.

What a great place! Everything was great from customer service to food quality and portion size. I ordered the hot boy sandwich combo which was a pulled pork and spicy link sandwich with one side and a drink. I ordered the beans for the side and the were phenomenal. I also ordered an additional catfish fillet because I just love catfish and it was exceptional. I am as soon as I can those nachos.

Wow I have been waiting to find another Nebraska gem like this in soooooo long... I ordered brisket sandwhich, pulled pork and a half rack. Nothing is better when BBQ is so delicious you dont even need to to sauce it up. Theres only a picture of ribs because once I tried the brisket I just couldnt stop eating and tearing thru the meal. I had to get one picture at least to show em justice for such a fantasitc meal. Glad to say this will be my BBQ staple for NE now.

Omg, I was craving some bar b que when I got in town, but was conflicted on where to go. I was told about this place …and boy am I glad. The young lady that took my order was sooo friendly and it continued when I picked up my order. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The ribs were smoked to perfection, the sides were seasoned well. I will most definitely come back when I come back in town. Thank you for your hospitality and I’m most definitely sharing my review on FB.

My brother and I only had two days in Omaha, so we knew we had to find some good eats. Luckily, we stumbled upon Wayne's New Skoo BBQ. The food was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection, and the flavors were on point. The staff was also super friendly and made the whole experience even better. I'm definitely going back next time I'm in Omaha!

Seems like every awesome BBQ place that I've gone to is tucked away in a corner and this place is no exception. First time going here and won't be the last. Went and the guys that were there were really laid back and really easy to talk to. Cook personally brought the food out to our table which was a cool little plus as well. Not too much sitting in here, which I could see being a problem on the future but we personally lucked out and I think beat the rush as a group of people came in right after us. Food was good, especially the fries and the ribs. We will definitely be ordering them again in the future. Didn't try the catfish, but I've heard great things about it. All in all I think its a pretty awesome little spot and id recommend it to anyone.
